The House: Ambiance and Facilities
La Fornacina is an authentic old country house from the 19th Century and the focus of our family estate. Deep in the quiet of nature with plenty of privacy, the house is the perfect place for a party up to 14 people who love to enjoy a mellow environment with all of the necessary facilities for relaxing, or for finding inspiration.
Explore our huge garden, ideal for unforgettable breakfasts in the middle of scenic flowers and trees. Plunge into our 20 x 46 feet swimming pool or relax in the outdoor hot spa tub and melt away stresses in our genuine Finnish sauna. Sunbathe on the sundeck or play cards under shaded tables; grill fantastic meals with our stone barbecue, pick from our organic vegetable garden at your leisure, with pleasure.
Indoors, you'll find a gourmet kitchen magnificently equipped (look for the wood-fired brick oven to bake and to make pizza!) and treat yourself with local delicacies as you cook with your friends or group. We offer an excellent personal chef on request; savor your meals in our large dining room whose table can accommodate up to 16 people. Our 4-sided fireplace is great for cosying up on chilly nights, allowing people to relax, their way, in the four rooms that enjoy the crackling fire. The comfy living room features TV, books, an iPod deck station and Internet WiFi available all around the estate for your entertainment. The house is stocked with tools for creative and artistic people, such as books, games, easels, and bright and comfortable spaces where guests can develop their creative flow, great nooks for writing, vistas for painting, areas for brainstorming, lawns for stretching or doing exercise as a group, not to mention a lush pool area for a quick dip in between stints of your creative thinking. La Fornacina is perfect for sketch trips, off-site business retreats, or any gathering you can imagine.
La Fornacina has 5 big double bedrooms, with king beds and private bathrooms, a loft bed and a cosy bedroom with single bed and bathroom to share, perfect for kids but suitable for adults. The house has an additional 3 extra beds, with plenty of closets, tools and of course, all the linen and towels you need for 14 people to stay comfortably.
One weekly rental of La Fornacina (entire house) includes:
- the entire property at your ease for up to 10+4 persons.
- 6 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, 3000 sqf.
- the garden with swimming pool, hot tub, sauna and all outdoor facilities
- an aperitivo welcoming with wine and appetizers upon your arrival
- 1 load of breakfast goods – to settle you in, most likely with extra condiments for additional days of your stay
- 2 linen/towels sets
- 1 cord of wood for a night of fireplace use during the cold season
- 1 cord of wood for one night of brick oven pizza use
- 1 housemaid cleaning service for the middle of your stay
- final cleaning service.
